Pastor Richard A. Thompson III, Who is he? Some call him ( Dad ) The New Day Lazarus ( Pastor T ) The Miracle Man or The Come Back Kid, depends on who you ask. You could Characterize our Pastor as a visionary with a global message, a true man of God, a caring, kind and considerate man with a mission and assignment from God. After he excepted the Lord as his personal saviour at the 22nd Street Church of God in Christ under Pastor Jessie M. Brown, he devoted his life to the gospel ministry since 1988; He is the husband of one wife First Lady Renita, according to Titus 1: 5-6; the Father of five, two lovely daughters and three handsome sons, the grandfather of three precious granddaughters and two grandsons. during his ministerial tutelege at 22nd Street Church of God in Christ, the Lord used him to serve the following offices as deacon, local minister, local minister of music, head minister youth department, District musician, State musician Indiana 1st Jurisdiction COGIC. God used Indiana 1st Jurisdiction to establish the proving ground and opportunity to show full proof of his ministry.
He being led by the spirit of God moved his membership and family joining the Church of the Living God Pillar and Ground of the Truth Which He Purchased with His Own Blood Inc. In 1994 the Lord used him calling him to Pastor in Dayton, Ohio during his tenure with the Church of the Living God he served as National Evangelist Dominion Wide, District Elder for the state of Kentucky, and Nashville, TN. God gave him his assignment to Pastor in Dayton Ohio used him in many ways during that time Ephesians 4:11 He being led of the spirit of God relocated back to the State of Indiana leaving the Church of the Living and relocating and rededicating back to the CHURCH OF GOD IN CHRIST In 2007
and pioneering the foudational work of
Abundant Life World Outreach Ministries Inc. CHURCH OF GOD IN CHRIST
Pastor Thompson has taken this experience and knowledge from successful pioneering works and has consulted with many Pastors around the country and has assisted with their growth and maturation. Pastor Thompson is well requested speaker and has ministered extensively throughout the United States. His ministry experienceed from small in home bible studies to packed conventions and conferences.
His varied interest includes the Outreach Ministry "Operation S.O.S. " (Stimulators Of Success ), R&B In The Spirit Mime Ministry ( Redeemed and Blessed ) a mime Ministry featuring two of his sons, Richard VI, and Brandon Thompson and Founder of The Paraclete Theological School of Ministry. It is hard to believe when watching him preach jump, praise and dance to the Glory of God; that on May 2007, he suffered a stroke which attacked his left side with partially paralyzing temporary lose of the left side limbs , and with slurred speech. October 2008, he suffered a massive heart attack Type A aorta dissection when his main aorta ruptured and exploded and as if that wasn't enough 2009 he was diagnosed with a Type B dissection descending thoracic aortic aneurysm all the time trusting God 2010 he under went major open heart surgery triple (AAA) surgery and if that wan't enough he's been clinically dead twice within a two year period. Through the miraculous healing power of God, Pastor Richard Thompson is now using his testimony to impart wisdom revelation and truth to the overcoming power of God, how he has been completely and miraculous healed from all physical and neurological paralysis to this end time generation. Pastor Thompson continues to create and work in Church communities developing programs that focus to enthusiastically jumpstart the lives and careers of individuals. In turn, helping to overcome mediocrity, and low self-esteem,economics and setting long and short term goals. The Lord has used Pastor Thompson to organize conferences, conduct training seminars, conferences workshops in specific areas of need, as well as a motivational speaker. Also using bibically based pratical principles to stimulate high self esteem concepts, which ultimately motivates predominant thinking towards self improvement and the standard of excellence.
